A frying pan to the knee cap should do the trick! Just kidding.
Nobody can makeanyone love Jesus. Only the grace of God poured out upon someone through His Spirit, receiving the gospel, and realizing the imperfection of our self can lead anyone to repent, worship, and desire Jesus.
For those of you who are blind to the extent of God’s love for you, hear this:
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:8)
Any claim from a person stating that they died for me, in spite of who I am, should cause me to seek out the reason behind it. Have you thoroughly done so?
For those of you who are trying to encourage others to love Jesus, hear this:
“…let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” (Jam. 5:20)
Keep loving people because Jesus loved you first. Your efforts are not in vain. And leave the frying pan at the house.
