You have been prayed for! We as a church have lifted you up in prayer hoping that God would show you how loved you really are.
I really want you to know that you are loved. Before anything else that could be said about what is going on in your life right now my church and I would like for you to truly believe that you are loved.
And I am not talking about some light shoulder hug type of love you get from a person you sort of know. I am talking about the deep joyful love a child feels when they run into the arms of a loving father who hugs them tightly. I am not talking about the type of love that is based on simply emotions that easily fades but upon promise keeping, active love that wants you no matter the cost. Few people know this type of love. The love that sacrifices. The love that endures pain on our behalf.
At PHBC, we know Jesus is the greatest display of love this world will ever truly see. Unlike anyone else Jesus died on a cross for the our sins even before we realized that we were sinners. He didn't make sure we were good enough before the nails pierced his wrist. He made us perfect through his divine work on the cross and in the resurrection.
I know that often times churches and Christians can put love on the back burner in our journey in this faith. I want you to know that we at PHBC are growing and trying to look more and more like Jesus. The depth of Jesus is infinite and we gather weekly to throw rocks of worship into the ocean of His greatness. We as a church hope that our prayers will truly impact you in a divine way. I want you to know that you are always welcome to join us at PHBC. Feel free to join a broken people who are constantly being mended by our Savior. May God bless you as you go through this journey of life to truly encounter the real Jesus who loves you in unimaginable ways.
